How often does someone innocent, with tons of wealth to pay for the best defense money can buy, admit that the person they had sex with did not believe it was consensual? If he truly believed that it was consensual, why would he admit that? And no, this is not the source of my knowledge, but it does seem pretty obvious to me.

How often? All the fucking time. People with shot loads of money make life decisions differently than others.. pay lawyers and sit in court so he can prove his innocence? Why? So when he dies internet losers can go back and say he was a rapist? Because that’s what our society does... you made up your mind a long time ago so... a verdict wasn’t going to change your opinion or any other losers opinion... Nobody remembers the outcome... they remember the accusation... he was already accused so... throw some money at the problem and watch it go away...

Kobe also admitted that he assaulted his accuser by forcibly holding her by neck over a chair during intercourse, arguing at the time this act was consensual. He later admitted there might have been an absence of consent and that a rape might have occurred. He apologized.


There's no question, by Kobe's own admission, that he made a terrible mistake.

He told me he preferred flying fixed wing because they don't have the "aerodynamic properties of a brick". A few years later he died in a heli he was piloting while heli-logging in BC.

Yeah, my friend is a Navy pilot. He was assigned heli's when he first got in. After years he was able to transfer (or whatever its called) to jets. He despised helicopters. Flying rocks. Granted, he did say you can 'crash glide' them sometimes, but for the most part you're f'd.

I just hope this whole thing ends up mechanical and not pilot error for the pilots family sake. People will be cruel and irrational if it is his error.

Did you watch the video in this post? Mechanical sounds pretty unlikely. Eyewitness reports are notoriously unreliable so we'll see, but I'll give more credence to a guy wearing a TWA hat.

I think mechanical is not likely. Poor visibility, other helicopters were grounded, tight schedule to keep for the big man.

I just read he chartered that helicopter, same one for yrs. the company took its website down. Pilot error, or mechanical they are fucked.
