Having the resources to fly privately can be hazardous to your health. I think I'll stick to United, miserable as that can be.
    Interesting list.

Oh how things could have been different...
"Helicopter crashed when overhead and tail rotors broke off from the craft; also killed were fellow Trump Casino executives Mark Grossinger Ettes and Jonathan Benanav.[53] Company founder (and future U.S. President) Donald Trump was reportedly scheduled to go with them on the flight, but cancelled at the last minute."

How often? All the fucking time. People with shot loads of money make life decisions differently than others.. pay lawyers and sit in court so he can prove his innocence? Why? So when he dies internet losers can go back and say he was a rapist? Because that’s what our society does... you made up your mind a long time ago so... a verdict wasn’t going to change your opinion or any other losers opinion... Nobody remembers the outcome... they remember the accusation... he was already accused so... throw some money at the problem and watch it go away...

I like the “rate a rapist” thread drift. So, Tyson is more of a rapist than Kobe. Good to know.

Common sense. So rare today in America it's almost like having a superpower.

Whoah... this thread. Kobe admitted that he did do something. Kobe also admitted that he assaulted his accuser by forcibly holding her by neck over a chair during intercourse, arguing at the time this act was consensual. He later admitted there might have been an absence of consent and that a rape might have occurred. He apologized.

There's no question, by Kobe's own admission, that he made a terrible mistake.

I laughed. I’m disappointed that with all the Kobe rape talk and there’s not one reference to the poopenhausen.

I like to think of Kobe as more Roethlisbergerish on the rape scale.

Well I can tell you one thing, I haven’t seen this discussion elsewhere on the internet today.

Or the Chinese fried bat guano recipes discussion either.

You just wait till puregravity floats the idea that it was shot down by Iranians living in Tehrangeles.

While I don’t think the Vail issue is enough to take away from the incredible competitor he was, I think it’s hilarious all the “me too” celebrities are in mourning over this.

Barely. Apparently he sent some emails to a Banyarwandan poet warlord about eating some children and his opposition found out that he wasn't using a secure server. It was a whole thing.

Being a private pilot for someone who isn't used to hearing people say no is a dangerous job.

I knew a guy who was an absolute ace pilot, both fixed-wing and helis, this guy did it all in aviation from cropdusting to heliskiing to heli-logging to stunt aerobatics, you name it. He told me he preferred flying fixed wing because they don't have the "aerodynamic properties of a brick". A few years later he died in a heli he was piloting while heli-logging in BC.

Yep. I heard the job actually sucks. They text you on your kids birthday. “Go to Miami and pick up some hookers and blow”

Yeah, my friend is a Navy pilot. He was assigned heli's when he first got in. After years he was able to transfer (or whatever its called) to jets. He despised helicopters. Flying rocks. Granted, he did say you can 'crash glide' them sometimes, but for the most part you're f'd.

I just hope this whole thing ends up mechanical and not pilot error for the pilots family sake. People will be cruel and irrational if it is his error.

Did you watch the video in this post? Mechanical sounds pretty unlikely. Eyewitness reports are notoriously unreliable so we'll see, but I'll give more credence to a guy wearing a TWA hat.

I think mechanical is not likely. Poor visibility, other helicopters were grounded, tight schedule to keep for the big man.

I just read he chartered that helicopter, same one for yrs. the company took its website down. Pilot error, or mechanical they are fucked.
