Yep, fuck sadtroll. And, don't quote the idiot.

On a happier note, we went out for dinner for the first time since early March last night for some fresh halibut and fries. My buddy who owns the place said he's lowered his seating by 50%. When asked if that would effect business he suggested that he'd be happy to be at 50% all the time, so although he may miss a couple of seats once in a while, for his operation should be not too large a hit.

Saw this today - interesting demographics on cases in Washington state. A lot of what is going on here seems counter to other things I've read re: men getting more than women and age ranges:

The demographic trends you're thinking of (older, men, underlying conditions, etc) are associated with death and not just infection.

Not a denier in any way.

I don't think there's some intrinsic value in anyone's life, that's a relic of our religious belief systems.

Umm. To who ever did that study, No shit Sherlock. If you really don't want to to get sick, it's a game of defense for the next year.

I made the mistake of taking 2 or 3 of those goddam things in HS Chemistry class (we were validating the amount of caffeine in each tablet), washed down with about a liter of cola. Holy shit the ride home from school was... jittery.

Noticed a lot of contrails today (relative to how it's been since this all started). Wonder if my qanon friend down the road is freaking out.

We have opened the barbers and hair salons, in central CA.
Still no nail shops or bars, though.

Covid made me realize I don’t need to pay a barber $30 to cut my hair every couple of months.

What's the point of a visit to the coiffeur if I can't have perfect nails as well?

Lots of people got it wrong early on. It's not whether they were wrong, it's whether they recognized it and changed course. Most did. One in particular refuses to.

In our Safeway more people walk the wrong way than the right way. Partly because the way the one ways are laid out it's impossible to avoid walking down each aisle at least twice.

Shortly thereafter we started buying fake speed, aka caffeine pills, from those adds in the back of High Times. And some sort of ephedrine pill. It was funny for a short while.
