Well, maybe a good business decision. Season almost over, tourists gone, so, shut it all down and stop payroll and energy costs. Money made, seeya next season.

This next week is huge for CO ski areas, tough decision.

Edit: it's huge when there is no covid19.

If there's one thing this virus has done, it has united all Americans in allowing them to declare open season on their political and perceived enemies for all that is wrong in the world at the same time.

    God bless us, everyone.

So Tom Hanks was playing Colonel Tom Parker in a movie about Elvis Presley when he tested positive. That sounds like a maybe cool movie. I wonder who's doing Elvis?

I figured someone close to you was an MA.

They are super important and unfortunately have the highest turnover rate due to being very underpaid for what they do so they bounce around a lot. Not to mention the costs they incur out of their own pocket to obtain their own certifications.

I'm working on a theory that maybe I already had this, in Austin in January. Same symptoms. Probably was a flu though. Still it would be cool to be done with it, so I'm thinking about believing it.

Can’t you get this novel virus more than once? I thought I read that somewhere.

They talked about that for a couple days but stopped as far as I know. Probably wasn't true .

I'm kinda working on that theory too. I had a terrible cough/cold/mild fever for like 3 fucking weeks in late December/early January after working in a house full of international travelers for a week. Doing stuff like collecting their trash etc. It wasn't the flu and if it was a cold it was the longest lasting cold I have ever had by a couple weeks.

This is all assuming it was actually in the US long before anyone realized it.

Notice 3/11/20 usa numbers ~ 437 to 1220 of course it would help to have run more than 8500 tests in the usa to date

    Chinese Rat Flu

Seems all there is left to do is bite the bullet and shut the country down for 30 days.

They’ve already decided, they just don’t want to cause a panic.

There is a Walgreens truck arriving at 1 tomorrow. I should go get in line for purell and TP.

I’ve given up on sanitizer. All the hoarderfags just camp out and buy it up at the smallest of retailers.

Alot is going to change over the next week in this country.
I think Trump giving a speech about it and not once saying the word "hoax" will make it very real for a lot of people who were in denial if not outright confuse the shit out of them.

Not to mention celebrities announcing they have the virus. Pretty easy to ignore it when it's people in China or in a nursing home in suburban Seattle.
