Now that it's becoming clear that President Trump, for all his faults, is handling Covid-19 much better than the UK or Western Europe have - and that fewer and fewer people believe the media, which spent weeks telling everyone he was racist for banning travel from Wuhan and then pivoted instantly to HE'S NOT DOING ENOUGH!11!! - you're backing and filling.

You're not alone, if it's any consolation. Paul Krugman and a raft of Democratic pundits have been openly cheering on the stock market collapse. But you made your bed by posting gratuitous political bullshit, and you can lie in it.

Meanwhile, some links to some of my previous posts. Anyone reading, feel free to judge them on content compared to bennymac's.
The president, who spent weeks and weeks calling it a hoax and doing absolutely nothing except downplaying it, actually did an amazing job! This is the same administration that allowed staff taking care of quarantined exposed individuals to do so without PPE and to go home to their families.

Oh and I didn’t see a single reference to all the opinion pieces you posted where I see the travel ban called “racist” as you keep alleging. But I’m not wasting my time reading all your bullshit so maybe I missed a twitter post from a random pundit.

Keep posting misleading data and sucking Trumps dick for doing almost everything wrong. But yea! His response is a 10 out of 10! This guy did a great job!

The science is interesting and terrifying at the the same time.

Let this thing bring us together rather than tear us apart.

From The Sound up in Long Island
    Out to San Francisco Bay
And everthing that's in between them Is our home
And we may have done a little bit
    Of fightin' amongst ourselves
But you fucking virus best leave us
    alone
    'Cause we'll all stick together
And you can take that to the bank

To my knowledge this is the first very real common enemy that the modern world has faced together. If we do collaborate succesfully as a species to fight this medical and economic emergency, I think we will learn a lot and I have a lot of hope for the future even though the short term will be bleak.

I like you, so, don't take this personally. Please be a little more sensitive to those of us with cross border families. You really don't know the stress this has been causing, especially today with that vague announcement. I was updated a little while ago that they had been able to cross, so I can breathe a little easier. Now they just need to survive the remaining 8hr drive without getting infected at a random gas or bathroom stop. Thanks for your understanding.

Alibaba has a kazillion N95 masks for sale around $1.50.
Why didn't hospitals see this coming and why don't they buy them from China?

When I went to the store, the only meat available was breakfast sausage/bacon, whole turkey's, skirt steak, and then pork you smoke/BBQ (Ribs, pork shoulders, etc.).

Because I bought a bunch of ribs and shoulder (as my only option) I need yellow mustard for my rub/sauce.

They saw it coming, they didn't see profiteers and preppers buying up the whole US supply is my guess.
