Trump aside, the obsession you Canadians have with the US is odd, because most Americans couldn't care less about what happens in Canada. You could block the border, and other than softwood and Christmas tree prices increasing here, I'm not sure what effect it would have.

Only one trip. However, I've met and skied with dozens of mags over a span of 15+ years, thanks.

No disagreement that AK is in it's own league, but "best" and "in it's own league" are two different criteria IMO. "Best" factors in consistency, accessibility, variety, etc., and when you look at the complete picture, it is hard to beat BC on this continent.

AK is definitely it's own thing and isn't really comparable to the rest of North America. For the sake of pedantry, a lot of the giant terrain up there does straddle the border.

Would you feel better if I said BC is the best skiing in North America, other than Alaska?
