Got a chance to talk to attending doctor today at the ski hill today. His med ctr has already implemented its program that was developed for SARS.
I believe kaiser in California has done this, too. I’m pretty sure my regional hospital has not. At the pediatrician on Friday, it was biz as usual
. No pre-made hand sanitizer available in town.
He also said that the 2 week self-quarantine will likely shift to 4.

A two week job quarantine would fuck shit up royally. I can't imagine what a 4 week one will do.
Are small businesses gonna keep the paychecks going when they have no money coming in and their employees are at home? A lot of people live paycheck to paycheck.
Who is gonna deliver cash to the ATMs / gas to the gas stations / mail to the post office / medications to the pharmacies and hospitals? Who is gonna police the roads and man the fire stations - are there gonna be different rules for different jobs depending on how essential they are to basic functioning of society?
I don't expect people in here to have all these answers. But I hope someone smart and in charge is figuring this out....
