Quarantine doesn't mean you can't enjoy a drink out front with your neighbors. You simply have to sit in your separate yards and shoot beers to each other via catapult.

This science fair-style ingenuity comes to you courtesy of two friends in Walla Walla, Washington, who held a "socially isolated beer gathering" so good it had to be captured on video.

Do you know the story behind the picture? The guy in the middle in English, he told his parents he was going to France to be a gamekeeper, then he dropped out of contact. Months later somebody realized it was him in the middle of this pic that had just been published somewhere.

    Can confirm.

I spent a wonderful day in Butte MT with Wooley12 and Mrs. Wooley. Also two Wooley-nephews who have got to be two of the best behaved children on planet earth.

Wooley can certainly be a numbskull here on TGR. But in person he is a really nice guy with a great wife and family.

Nothing bad really. It’s not really summer till the cicadas start singing.
In the really big years, it can be like the entire atmosphere is humming, not just when the bugs near you are singing, but the millions in the surrounding miles.

Yeah, I don’t really find it annoying...I think it’s cool. Reminds me of when I was a kid during the summer. Brood xix is supposedly coming a few years early this year here. Haven’t heard any yet, maybe because it’s been pretty cool...

Seems a lot of the people you saw out this weekend on your tv are not the majority.

I think the sound is pretty cool, too. That said I typically only hear them once a year when I visit Chicago in the summer. I can imagine it would get tiresome after a while.
