Fear and Loathing, a Rat Flu Odyssey
9.26.2020 blasted up to 3 million views.
7.16.20 2 million views. We may be doomed or may be saved, depending on your perspective. Good luck.
4.24.2020 Update
Chinese Rat Flu was partly meant to get some looks and spread the word about this virus in late January. Not quite sure how I had such a weird bad hunch about it, but here we are. As of today we are over 700 thousand views on this thread. If I helped a few families isolate, get masks, and stay safe, I’ll consider that entirely worthwhile.
Unfortunately humans being stupid like they are, there has been lashing out at Asians in general. That’s as silly as referring to Africa as one country.
While I still currently (unless other facts come to light) feel that the government of China, the citizens that ran the wildlife markets, and the citizens that patronized them are culpable, I don’t want to contribute to ill will towards people not responsible.
So with no further ado I give you
Fear and Loathing, a Rat Flu Odyssey
OP:
It’s the year of the rat in China. And this virus jumped from some unknown animal. And they want the maggots to come up with a name. So I’m pitching Chinese Rat Flu.

I don't know what they should call the flu but they should call the people who get it the Wu-Han Clan.

Currently in the midst of a Seoul, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Bangkok, and Hong Kong loop.
I’ll post a TR from inside my isolation room once this thing takes up residence in my lungs.

The Chinese have been raping the world's wildlife for centuries and now the animals are giving them the death virus.
What's the name of that song by Ratt? What comes around goes around?

Watched the news and Dr. Theresa Tam the chief public health officer was answering questions about a man in a Toronto hospital.
Her responses worries me it's worse than we are being told.
She's sounds frustrated and not very reassuring.
Fingers crossed

World hasn't seen a major pandemic since the 1918 flu. Before that, all sorts of outbreaks were common. And that's in a century that gave us air travel, when an infected person can be all the way on the other side of the world in a 24 hour period. A lot of people are complaining already about China's reaction to all this, but imagine if it was a hundred years ago without the WHO and modern communications. We'll see.
