Maybe, but, the EU, the White House, and Wall Street are erring on the side of extreme caution. I hope they are wrong.

Hey, maybe us younger gen X’ers and older millennials may have access to social security benefits later in life.

Well, they're sort of, uh, fixing it right now, as I read ak47's post.

    Omicron leveling the playing field:

“We’re seeing a marked change in the demographic profile of patients with COVID-19,” Rudo Mathivha, head of the intensive care unit at Soweto’s Baragwanath Hospital, told an online press briefing.

“Young people, in their 20s to just over their late 30s, are coming in with moderate to severe disease, some needing intensive care. About 65% are not vaccinated and most of the rest are only half-vaccinated,” said Mathivha.

This is not good news, another traveler in Hong Kong just tested positive for Omnicron. And that person traveled there from…. Canada.

100% chance it is already here in Merica. Half baked travel bans will do absolutely nothing as usual and per our past experience.

So far reports seems to be that Omicron doesn’t make you very sick. Hopefully that holds true.
