Per NY Times, in the last seven days, Quebec has 55 new cases per 100,000. Alberta is next at 25. Compare to the US, there are only 13 states with 55 or less. For instance, Washington, which is considered to be doing well compared to the rest of the US, is at 50.

So Canada locks down at 55, and the US keeps rolling along.

Notice they're taking about an uptick in deaths, not infections. After being told they had herd immunity people started partying and giving it to grandma. Who could have predicted that?
