Due to the coronavirus crisis, Philadelphia police will no longer be making arrests for all narcotics offenses, theft from persons, retail theft, theft from auto, burglary, vandalism, bench warrants, stolen autos, economic crimes such as passing bad checks, fraud, & prostitution.

Please stop. If you want to criticize mask wearing because we have a finite supply, then that's fine. But if you think wearing masks makes you "paranoid," then you clearly are missing the point highlighted by two key facts:

    1. We don't have an accurate count of how many people are infected.
    2. Even poorly fitted masks are proven to reduce the inoculum which can reduce the severity of the infection. In addition to aggressive testing and quarantining, this is the primary hypothesis for how Taiwan and Hong Kong escaped with so few infections and deaths.

you know what was a really bad idea, the personal tax cut for the top .1%
But where to spend it? My town is Shelter in Place. I can buy food, house hold supplies and medicine. Nothing else is open for business

Online retailers are starting to shut down. Sierra Trading Post Closed ship today.

Some folks are in need of $1000. Provide it for the recently laid off. Not everyone. My neighbors that earn over $250k a year do not need a grand. The mom down the street who is no infer cleaning rooms does. For food. Give her $2k.

Your opinion isn't informed. These aren't black and white issues. Recognize that there are people who study these problems for a living and defer to them.

    X2

The majority of people can prevent spread on their daily routine with simple measures (hand washing, maintain reasonable distance, avoid touching face more often, etc). You don't need PPE when running errands. Especially out here.

Took a trip to the liquor store, and saw the clerk working with latex gloves. Nice gal, just doing her job and trying to be careful. While she may not have seemed like an at-risk person, you'd hate for her to suffer the symptoms id she caught it through her job.

Since work finally got me a VPN to work from home, I caved into my desire for a little Irish cream with my coffee.

Does the MyPillow.com guy literally have billion dollars in advertising funds? Their ads are literally nonstop. I’ll never buy their product just because I hate their ads.

Question about blood donation. I’m O+. I can give double reds. I know there is a high need for blood donation. Do I put myself at great risk, donating blood if I were to get CV19? I’m thinking I might need those red blood cells and that donating would weaken my immune system.

Buses are empty around here. BART (the commuter/homeless train) reduced service b/c 97% of passengers are gone.

And many homeless already have free passes
