    Oh I'm in the US. Massachusetts specifically. But the school I teach at has something like 18% of its students coming from China, so things that happen there tend to have effects here.

    So you're describing what your students are telling you about whats going on in China I guess. Not that things have gotten that bad in MA, yet.

    6 months ago we planned a trip to the mother land (singapore) leaving next week via hong kong,

    decided it would be flying into the eye of the storm, too risky, pulled the plug
