Yeah there's no way to isolate someone in our house either, 2 bedrooms, living room/dining room, kitchen and one bathroom that is in the middle of the house. Basically I figure it would mean setting up shop in the Durango and getting a porta potty but there's no running water outside the house so you'd still have to come in to wash and stuff and it would be fucking cold and uncomfortable because it has no exhaust from the muffler back so it can't be left running to keep the heat on unless it's moving. We've pretty much accepted that if one gets it we all get it.

Confirmed by her vet. Cats lungs are filling up unable to intubate. Likely will die in 24 hours. Other cat will likely follow. Both cats are indoor cats. Both her and her husband likely had covid19, mild symptoms so not tested. I dunno man, I'm just passing info here. I got 2 kitties myself.

On a human side, another friends mother in law died of cv19 last week and her husband is in critical condition. She was the 15th case in CH.

My downstairs neighbours said that they likely have it. Yikes!

    Quarantine Day 16
    COVID-19 Day 15

    Saturday was a rough day.
Coughs keep coming back every 12 hours when MucineX DM wears off.
Slept most day which screwed up my night sleep.

    Sunday was a little better.
Stayed up all day without a nap so I could sleep better.
Went to bed around 10:30pm and keeps waking up every 2 hours.
By 4am, I was wide awake.

Stomach problem is an ongoing issue.
I've been having D almost 10 days straight now.

Body aches and headaches are gone.
I had pain in my body about two weeks so I don't know how to feel normal.
My body feels numb without pain.

Still can't smell, low appetite and ears feel pressured.

    Boyfriend seems recovering nicely.
Most symptoms are gone and no fever past two days.
He's four days ahead of me, so I'm hoping to get there by Thursday.

We haven't had a sip of alcohol since March 8th.
Boyfriend lost 17lbs from being sick and not drinking.
Now he walks around in underwear proudly.

I sincerely want to punch anyone who says "it's just a flu" but I'll also tell you that we will get through it. Humanity may be ugly at times but it's incredibly resilient.
Thanks for that. Good to hear you guys are pulling through, I hope it continues!

The frontline worker situation highlights a massive problem with just saying "flatten the curve:" it's not one curve, it's a whole bunch of very similarly-shaped curves of different heights and phases. We make square waves out of sine waves by putting them out of phase: don't let them all start at once. Contain the hotspots by staying home so that the next curve doesn't shift left and spike too early.

If we slow the rate of spread to different areas we can move personnel (and equipment), just as the reverend describes. The US' heterogeneous population should be a huge advantage.

Obviously the federal "task force" or FEMA needs to take charge and start coordinating (and show the loaning of vents and extra PPE to NYC so no one imagines they're safer leaving). But while we wait for the foggy brains of our doddering overlords to work through it: stay home!

Ask for prescription cough medicine (codeine). It works.

No, no it is not. Cats do not get Corona, nor do dogs. People post dumb ass shit like this and then even dumber people kick their pets out on the street because they don't want the virus. JFC.

Home delivery is worth looking into.

"A review of studies on OTC medications for acute cough found fairly disappointing results for the effectiveness of Mucinex and antihistamine decongestants like Dimetapp and Delsym. The review concluded that there is no evidence for or against the effectiveness of these medicines for an acute cough."

Make sure you stay hydrated with all that "D", Nutmeg. Mucinex also works by basically stealing water from the rest of your body, so hydration is double importyant. Feel better. Tell your boyfriend to put some clothes on before he catches a cold.

And if she gets symptoms, then I already have it too. At some point it's not worth isolating within the family and we all have to isolate together from the world.
