Ironically, Americans are totally cool with facebook and google having all that data on them but freak out about the government having it.
Because the concept of anonymized data is 100% bullshit.

Powdork that sucks, hang in there man. It occurs to me that maybe they intubated her so quickly to try to stay ahead of any resource strains {i.e. ventilator demand) they they may anticipate - in other words if they waited then she might not get on one- so maybe there's a bit of a bright side in that she's getting the care she needs now, without competing with covid patients for the machine.

It's not clear to me what this means - is it 10 per day just in that brief time frame or do they anticipate less than 10 deaths per day nationally going forward from that time? Maybe I need more coffee but I'm not getting it.

Our last trip was Bermuda over Christmas.

We suspect it was boyfriend who works in Manhattan commutes via Metro North.
He also takes subway time to time.
He showed symptoms 4 days before me.

We also live in New Rochelle in Westchester County.
Coronavirus epicenter of epicenter in the US.

My boyfriend doesn't give me STD.
    He gives me coronavirus.

He's on day 16th, so it took good two weeks to turn things around.

My fever's hovering around 99F rather than 100F.
Body aches, headaches are slightly better as well.
Yesterday started having coughing fits out of nowhere which made me nervous.
Took a MucineX DM and it kicked in right away.
    Today, coughs are gone.

March 14th, the day we got tested there were only 61 confirmed cases and 2 deaths in New York State.
As of March 26th, 12 days later there are 37,258 confirmed cases and 385 deaths.

Be back to report in 2-3 days.
Glad you three are doing ok.

I think we're about 30 days out from a vast number of very sad and depressed people in this country. Just thinking about that makes me sad.

This is going to be a time period that is going to make or break this nation.

Yeah, given a choice better to get sick when resources are available. But FWIW, early on doctors followed SOP: 1) first oxygen 2) then BiPap machine to push air 3) and finally a ventilator. Now they're going straight to ventilator because they've learned from experience the step-by-step procedure is too slow and if they don't act quickly it's already too late.

They claim one of the reasons is essential business workers (healthcare workers, police, firefighters... etc) transportation.
I have NYPD sergeant friend who commutes via Metro North everyday.
He said the train is 98% empty.

I did have ATT for a few years and it started going out random after autumn winds. They never fixed it through the winter, so finally switched to a local wireless broadband in February. So happy I did that, as we would be going nuts trying to work and learn from home with that shitty service.

Hang in there Powdork. That sounds rough.

Yeah, that's the other side of this. Subways, commuter trains and airports have never been safer, with the lack of humans present.

I'm on day 5 of isolation from family. No symptoms yet, but massive allergies.

    LYRICS

I’m isolating, haven’t been outside for days
I’m not scared, I’m too afraid to be afraid
I’m starting to lose it or something
    But it doesn’t matter much
if it’s real or if it’s something I’m just thinking of

I sanitized it then I washed it all away
I see your mask more than I ever see your face
I’m starting to lose it or something
    But it doesn’t matter much
if it’s real or if it’s something I’m just thinking of

    PRE-CHORUS

I think I think I think about it too much
    Maybe I’m not paranoid… enough

    CHORUS

I really thought you were gonna believe me
I really thought you were gonna believe me
Yeah I did whatever I could
    I did whatever I could

It doesn’t matter what you’re doing to cover your tracks
And no matter how closely you’re watching your back
    It won’t do no good

    VERSE

I’m quarantining my feelings all away
Washing my hands after every time I pray
I’m starting to lose it or something
    But it doesn’t matter much
If it’s real or if it’s something I’m just thinking of

The fever’s rising my lungs have always burned
I’ve been surviving but it’s only getting worse
I’m starting to lose it or something
    But it doesn’t matter much
If it’s real or if it’s something I’m just thinking of

    PRE-CHORUS

I think I think I think about it too much
    Maybe I’m not paranoid… enough

    CHORUS

I really thought you were gonna believe me
I really thought you were gonna believe me
Yeah I did whatever I could
    I did whatever I could

It doesn’t matter what you’re doing to cover your tracks
And no matter how closely you’re watching your back
    It won’t do no good
