The people who were mocked for stocking up early don't look so stupid now. CEO of Heinz was saying their supply lines are disrupted and they won't be able to maintain production.

Totally. It’s a unique challenge right now.

And the employers will just lay them all off too. That’s very American too.

They're still fucking stupid. Millions of mouth breathers who subsist on a diet of fast food, and now they have to actually cook, so they buy a case of ketchup.

Zero commitment on anything in this presser.

    We are looking into it.
    We will know soon.
    They will be delivered.
    They will be available.
    We will see what happens.

From my Dr. friend in Virginia just now:

"Just an update as we circle the drain.... We have received official word from our hospitals that we can no longer test in outpatient facilities. Even inpatient testing is rationed. And adding injury, we are now running short on MDI (metered dose inhalers) for patients that cannot breathe due to COVID infections. This also means asthmatics and others will find that they cannot find needed meds.

For some context, South Korea and the US each had its first confirmed COVID case on the same day. Look at the trend lines for testing and new infections. Anyone willing to put a bullet in Trump's head deserves the Nobel Peace Prize."

I'd bet this will be the last press briefing, they're holding his feet to the fire and he isn't liking it.

Just saw this in the local FB feed.

AirBnB for rent in Bozeman. $ 2500 a month if you need to self isolate or quarantine.
I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.

I'm really surprised it hasn't happened yet.

And the PPE thing absolutely blows my mind. Plans being made without knowing what's available = corporate healthcare. Where administrators get to sit at home and never need worry about the people actually on the front lines being exposed to not only the coronavirus, but who knows what else all in the name of a dollar or two. For fucks sake, I just read that a friend donated some extras of his N-95 masks he uses for painting to the hospital I work at. What's this shit coming to? Does infection control have no say anymore about this?
