When I went to HK in 1997 for the changeover, "free range rat" was all the rage in the culinary scene. Though the expose I read about it at the time in Time Magazine suggested skipping the dish as it was inferred that when somebody ordered the item off the menu, many restaurants just sent a cook out into a nearby alley to snag a local rat...though I guess if said rat is wandering the streets uninhibited it is technically "free range"...

Racist stereotypes of rat eating Chinese were all the rage? Shocking. They probably dusted off 100 year old bullshit. Opium dens too? White slavery?

You would never survive the NYC subway system. After a strong storm, water levels rise and the rats head for higher ground along the tracks.

It's easy, NYC and LI are part of the Boston, NYC, Philadelphia, DC, Baltimore area. Everything North and West is Upstate. At least according to benny

Too much work. I'm thinking I'd run a direct shuttle to the Outlet Mall upon release.

Bummer for those 3000 cruise ship passengers quarantined for two weeks. How many murders will happen because they were quarantined on a cruise ship to nowhere for two weeks?
