Sort of related and quantifiable, the relative transmissible-ness of greeting gestures:

Maybe just throw a random bird and call it good.
Better and not pictured, elbow bump, AKA "the hospital handshake" or "the Liberian handshake" because it was used during the 2014 Ebola outbreak.

Maybe it's best to just not make physical contact with people who are not in your immediate family during a pandemic?

I'm more of a Clorox Clean-up kind of guy, but I can see that Windex having a more piquant flavor.

    Be careful though:

At the risk of straying into poliass-type posting, thought this was fascinating, at least as a possibility. This virus could be perfectly timed for a realignment of our politics and economy.

Understood. Currently only China (not including Hong Kong) and South Korea (new as of 2 days ago) have level 3 warnings. So you would be SOL if you had travel plans to Italy, Hong Kong, or other parts of Asia and wanted to cancel and be covered by insurance.

Trump must be seeing all the angry emoticons floating up the way he keeps looking at something and frowning.
