I can't be the only person who finds humor in that the quarantine isolation camp that the State of Georgia has set up is in "Hard Labor Camp State Park".
https://www.wsbtv.com/news/georgia/n...OMFCLGNW2KED4/
Mix that in with the reckless speculation of martial law, eliminated elections and extreme rationing and a government camp named Hard Labor sounds about right. Or someone has a terrific sense of humor.I still call it The Jake.

Well, I'm glad I was at the bar tonight. Tomorrow they close statewide.

The government is capable of taking both wrong and insufficient action, as they can come from the same cause of failure. And it is so.
In China, they made the mistake of sending subacute patients home after they were found positive. It would have flattened the epidemic curve more had they used hotel rooms and supplied these people with food as they wouldn't have infected their whole family.
In the USA, we are sending suspected subacute patients home because we have no ability to test them because of the government testing shit show. Wrong action, and too little.
Can't even get test results for 4+ days on critical hospitalized patients..Originally Posted by blurred

There's a max prison here, right across the bay. A prison guard rents one of my properties.
The first thing they need to do is assess who they can release. Then they create a buffer. They've already started training for Quarantine, where she may be living there for weeks, behind an airgap.

hope they let restaurants stay open for carryout around here. Might keep a few businesses hanging on by the skin of their teeth and a welcome break from my own cooking.

If there really is a ‘no gatherings over 50’ edict, pretty much all fast food interior spaces would shut (like chik fil a). Unless they monitored at the door?
What about truck stops?
So, what about the prisons?
Do they consider two to a cell social isolation?
What about meal/rec times?Forum Cross Pollinator, gratuitously strident

I was just thinking about underlying conditions and how they often relate to personal choices, i.e. sugar, food, alcohol, smoking, exercise or lack thereof. Maybe another good thing that could come out of this is that people take better care of themselves. it's prolly about as likely as yours though.
