    Knuckle Huck at X-Games

Such a cool event. I like it better than big air.

The endless spinning of Big Air comps has quite frankly transcended beyond skiing and strayed into gymnastics territory in my mind (A.K.A. boring as sh*t) but this is very cool. Always like seeing the young jibbers at the hill doing this type of stuff. Very cool.

Yup. It's aerials with baggier clothing, poles (sometimes!), and different helmets. Undoubtedly takes skill and massive balls but it's not interesting to watch.

The Knuckle Huck, on the other hand... that was downright fun to see.

Harlaut was awesome. First run, It didn't like he did anything until I saw it in close up slo-mo, but when I did... holy shit. The announcers didn't even catch it until the replay.

I'm seeing a lot of names I've watched on the SLVSH channel, the Instabangers are particularly fun parky jibby shit to watch.

Now an event I would watch is if they launched off the regular jump, then exploding on the knuckle on purpose, intended explosions...jumps, tricks AND crashes win win win

Meh, sorry, still find this shit so repetitive and boring to watch. Would much rather see a freestyle comp off the north face of Maroon Peak.

It’s better than shovel racing, but I’m with this guy.

I mean it’s cool in a video, but watching a whole comp...I’ll stick to watching moguls.

It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.

I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.

Gotta wait till spring for that, right? Too much billygoating midwinter.

Or a comp in The Cirque or Highlands Bowl or something. Spinning and spinning and spinning some more is zzzzzzz to watch at this point.

Yea it’s cool to see because it’s different but gets old quick, same with the big air, it’s awesome but seeing people do ultra rehearsed controlled condition tricks has its limits after some time.

Freeride is awesome, uncontrolled natural conditions , picking a line, etc. that’s where it’s at.

Next, these NuSkewling park rats will take away the knuckle and just do jumps and spins on a gentle blue run. Everything old is new again... nothing dies... I bet they'll give that event a cooler name this time around though.

Fuck yes. This reminds me, we have a stoke thread in need of resuscitating.

Well fuck they kept yelling about only 20 minutes, so I watched waiting for the Chinese rat flu downhill but they caved and gave them all an individual run extra.
