    They had a perfect sound for a time and place.

    For a time in the mid 80's I had access to L.A. Kings season tix (rich girlfriend), 2nd row center ice - purple sweater years.. Going to hockey games in LA during those years was like going to the theater, nothing like a game in Philly or Boston. Well, Glenn Frey had season tix down low, big hockey fan, and holy shit could he give hell to the refs. You could probably hear his voice out in the Forum parking lot when he got really wound up. Awesome to see, RIP..
