This poster has been in the bar at Montana Snowbowl since I first skied there 35 years ago. Hang 'em high.

One of my favorites as a teenager, I skied on Kneissels at the time

Sweet Thread. I have a very unique one that has seen better times. Need to have it framed someday.
I will post it up once I snap a photo.

Also have this odd one that I found at a Denver Goodwill. Anyone know a backstory?

I was having a really rough time trying to scrape together enough for a draft and a ramen up at my buds place in Breck, and I was hitching and wanted to lighten the load, so I got $5 for it at the Goodwill in town. A decision I will always regret.

    Here is my offering.

My french teacher in high school, Madame Joakim, lived in Savoie, FR in the summers.
She knew Michael Prufer, who won the Speed Skiing demonstration event in 1992 at Les Arcs.
She brought 2 of these back. She knew me and my best friend skied just about every weekend that we didn't have X-C comps, so she offered us one of the posters. He let me have it. It got munched by some rodent when it was in storage a while back. I plan on framing it one day and cleaning up the holes.

A former neighbor gave this to us and I had it cleaned up and framed a few years back. It details Colorado resorts of the time including Idelwild, Mt Werner, Berthoud Pass, Hidden Valley, Geneva Basin, Pike’s Peak and Ski Broadmoor. The second photo shows that the poster is by Hal Shelton and it includes Evergreen Basin. Google tells me that it was a planned resort on private land that started cutting runs in 1965, but was shut down because of disagreements with NFS as to property boundaries.

Was given this old poster my my dad when they were cleaning out the grandparent's home. Apparently he and his brothers made a trip down to Taos when they were young, borrowing the parents station wagon to make the drive. Must have been quite a wild trip as a young college student in the 70s.

Framed it and now hangs in my home.

Not quite a poster but this hung on my wall as a kid - Bernard Knauss’ purse from the First Interstate Bank Cup in Winter Park, a US Pro Tour event in the early 90s, on a gigantic oversized check. He handed it to me walking off the podium. Click image for larger version.

Well, I had this on my wall when I was a kid. I did get a very valuable warning from dad about dating crazy chicks.

I have these two in my office. The Corbett's poster features Doug Coombs and Rob DesLauriers.

Several years ago Glen Plake made a stop at Bogus Basin and my daughter had him sign this one for me.

I had these boots and this poster! There's a brand new pair of these boots in the Paramus, NJ Ski Barn.

Was '92 the second annual First Interstate Bank Cup? I'm trying to figure out why the check has a serial number of 002.

Regardless, cool piece of art, fucking cool story, and really fucking cool of the athlete.
