FS: Salomon QST Guard pants, Sportube 2
I thought my quest for blue pants had ended. Alas this GS sourced Salomon pair arrived late last week and I’m too fat. Really clean threads. Size L. These would prob be perfect for +\- true 34 waist, prob top out for a wearer a bit over 6 ft tall. YMMV. $99 shipped CONUS. ***SOLD SOLD SOLD***
It’s a Sportube 2. Great shape. $90 plus shipping. My intention was to also price this at $99 shipped CONUS but something changed on our corporate FedEx rate yesterday, and not in a good way. So hedging on that.
Payment via PP F&F or Zelle. Can’t ship until next Tuesday or Wed when I get back in town.Last edited by dgilligan02; 02-10-2020 at 09:51 PM.

Per manufacturer:
Length - Adjustable from 48" to 83" (122cm to 212cm)--internal dimensions
Width - 11" (280mm)--internal dimensions
Depth - 6" (152mm)--internal dimensions
I have no reason to doubt the above. Personally, though, I've only put ~190 cm skis in there (and not been on the last slot of the extension). I've never tried to put two 135-140 tip width skis in there at the same time. Usually have a 110ish waist ski plus something smaller. Perhaps others may chime in with their "I fit this in there" stories.

I don’t. As you can see to me it’s 270 width on the narrow side, the other half will be slightly bigger as it has to slide over this side of the tube.. So couple 130s even same direction should be doable. I’m guessing, but think you could get 2 x 140s in there by facing opposite directions (one pair tip up, other pair tail up). At high end of tolerances, caveat emptor.
Length I wouldn’t worry about too much. This is on second to last length point. 187 Lib Origins as reference.
Here’s how you load it.

Go for it - they are really nice and that price is a steal. Only downside is that its a little harder to pack your clothes around the skis in the sporttube, but its not too bad with a little practice. The peace of mind with a hard case is worth it, imo.

Bump. Going through the office storage room today I noticed I still have the Sportube series 2 listed in OP.
Think I flew with it twice; since going inserts I've just been piling everything in a series 1.
