    2020 Tennis Thread

Didn’t see one started yet, so here goes for our small band of tennis enthusiasts.

Congrats again 15 year old Coco Gauff on defeating Venus in round 1 of a major!

Love the Aussie Open and the late matches; hope the fires die down for their own sake and that the smoke isn’t an issue for the players.

    Nice MT.

Another first round loss by Sharapova.

You came back after the (bs in my opinion) doping suspension and proved your point, but it may be to hang it up girl.

My man Shapo out in first round after melting down on the umpire. Didn't see the match or highlights just some audio clips from the radio, but shit.

I dunno man. Sharapova always a starter in my book. Just on talent factor alone...

I heard the audio on the morning sports talk show and it was hilarious.

Nice slate of round 2 women’s matches on now. Zheng giving Osaka a match. Goerges just pushed Martic to a 3rd

    Serena in a grinder here...

Excellent slate of matches tonight, only wish I could stay up to see it all.

Farewell to Wozniacki, hope her epilogue is more fitting of her one time World #1 ranking than the other social bs.

Serena looked beat from jump. None of her traditional power game and failing that, she couldn't position accurate balls.

Looks like Fed had to dig pretty deep to pull off that win.

Yeah he did. Hometown crowd going hard against him too.

Gauff in an amazing straight setter over the defending champ Osaka. Unreal.

Damn. Tough one for Nadal. Real tough. Could’ve gone either way.
