    Dynafit Beast Boots 28.5

    28.5 with 320 mm bsl
These have little use, soles are fresh. Maybe 3-5 tours. No baking or modifications. The base plate inside one boot, the insert that the liner rests on, cracked in one. I didn't do anything about it and didn't have any issues with it moving around. Maybe duck tape it if you want to be sure.

    SOLD $200 shipped

Does anyone know the last on these? Can’t seem to find it for this model. If it’s somewhat average for medium-wide I’ll take dibs for my dad.

I have very low volume heels and instep and pretty wide up front. I needed substantial metatarsal punches. They are definately on the low volume side, and I'm pretty sure the last is 98. They punch well and ski really well.

Did a quick search and wasn't able to find the last either. These were also called the Khion Carbon at one point, so you might have luck searching for that. EVO has these fit notes on the Khion:

"Bootfitter's Comments – Mid-wide forefoot with an average midfoot and instep height. Aggressive heel pocket fit.

Reverse Engineering – The Khion fit, with a larger, pre-punched metatarsal area and more relaxed instep height than previous Dynafit freetouring models, was developed using a reverse engineering development process."

These boots are the replacements Dynafit sent me as a result of that recall.

How do they fit size wise? Do they run small or true to size? He is a 28.5 in his other boots but says he is between a 10.5 and 11.

I have worn 28 or 28.5 in Vulcans, TLT6, BD Factor and Salomon X Waves (I'm probably forgetting others) and I am a 28 in these also.

How do these compare with the factors? Similar last/toebox fit? am having some 6th toe problems in my Factor MX's. Probably just time to size-up. I think this would be a decent replacement for a resort-centric touring boot, yeah? Stiffness up to snuff?

I actually owned the Titan before this boot, but it was too long ago for me to make any fit comparisons. I can say for me, the Beast was an upgrade in every way (performance, fit, quality of stock liner). I skied this boot quite a bit before getting this replacement as part of the recall.

Maybe someone reading else can opine on the Titan vs. Beast last.
