The XR4 is on the short list to replace my Nobby Nics if I ever get the chance to wear them out this summer.

Loved the XR4–but started running an XR4 front and purgatory grid rear and love that setup even more.

Governor announcement at 11 today could be a game changer for trail openings.

VT trails are closed? I'm assuming there's a shitload of non-sanctioned stuff that you can ride, no?

Congratulations, Vermont. The governor's team is easing restrictions on recreational use further.
Now be safe and don't be a DB when you find yourself at a crowded trailhead. Have a backup plan and park further away or go elsewhere.

Been riding the Town Trails & Presumpscot and both have been dry aside from a few muddy spots near the cemetary. Rode great last night though!
Also looks like someone tried digging a few new routes down the rock races near the cemetery and they've been covered in logs and sticks since"We're in the eye of a shiticane here Julian, and Ricky's a low shit system!" - Jim Lahey, RIP

Yeti 575, one of the best bikes of its generation. I’m sure it still rides great.

^^^put on some shorts!
Last night's ride was a decent 50/50 balance. However about 3 miles of the worst type of gravel there is - deep pea sized rocks like it had just been graded, but with washboard underneath. Cornering on downhills was dicey AF on my newly tubed tires (waiting for newly ordered tires to arrive). I was paranoid about flatting and the tires felt totally squirelly.

Mount some tires with knobs instead of file tread.
