edit; that guy is an alien ^^^

Grateful to get in a short ride tonight as the current project requires a 7 day work schedule to meet my deadline.

Ribbon of leaf fall to ride, filling in the nooks and crannies. Dusty trails getting a rinse this week.

A good portion of the trees were infested with the mapleleaf cutter, which is evident in this photo. Infestation seems to be below 1700', not as many chewed leaves higher up. That being said, the drought has moved the foliage calendar at least a week ahead of schedule.
    Happy trails!

Sent this to one of our local legends who does 80+ miles in 8 hours at KT and he said this is whack (in a good way). Impressive what freaks can do.

Picked this up in case the ski season sucks. I’ll just plow Sunny Hollow trails to ride all winter.

Moped Rog is currently flintstone Rog. And I have no idea, nor do I care, but he'll read this and text me for sure.

Out yesterday and it seems the leaves don't stick on dirt sidewalks.

I got out the other day and forgot about the leaf slippage factor (like I do every year). Nearly donked into two trees.

20/20 NE - I can see clearly now

Met with a bunch of buds at KTA on Saturday (ran into biggins and doremite as well) and we rode 26 miles and 3300' vert.

From the tiki bar to Kirby Connector, climbed Shire and up and over to Butter Cups. We then took the XC trail to Shonty's, which is amazing, but too short. We rode up Flower Pot Hill and climbing Swamp Donkey to the top of Black Bear (worst newly named trail, ever). What a ride down. Upper BB was like concrete with the big berms and jumps and after the clearing, the lower portion is tight and techy. So much fun!

After lunch in the Moose Haven parking lot (dropped car with coolers, etc) we headed up to Stormin' Norman and back on Flower Brook/Moose Alley/New School.

They guys had circled the Sprinters, RV, and Airstream to create a great campsite in the lot for post ride beers.

Nice Peruvian! I was supposed to be there this weekend, but the mountain bike is still back ordered until who knows when. Would have been nice to ride with everyone(I feel like I miss biggins by a day all the time there).

With no mtb I did a bikepacking loop around Quabbin reservoir in western ma. Hands down best gravel riding I’ve done, and definitely one of the top rides of my life. Incredible terrain and scenery, no people, perfect weather. Felt super remote, and after we got a few miles from Amherst we didn’t see people again until we’d pop into a town.
