I love and miss Willowdale. My favorite riding spot in MA (yes, I like intermediate light tech).

Oh, right on. I've never really ridden Willowdale. I've only touched a few of the outer trails when riding Georgetown.
Fort Rock has a lot of new if you haven't been in a while. New stuff Exeter side is very techy and the Newfields side is faster fun smoother stuff. Good mix.

I figured the local streets would have gotten quieter and a ride down to the CVS 4 miles away was a good idea. These fucking people are nuts, normal traffic, driving way too fast and the frustration level is palpable. I got passed in a single lane construction area where I was taking the lane at 22mph(30 zone)! I did some exploring looking for trails that I can ride to from home, found a power line potential and there's an abandoned golf course that I think has great potential I'm so impressed with some of the hill climbs within just a few miles of home, I really hope traffic fizzles over the next few days and I can see what the place is all about.

N. Mass by Ipswich/andover. Fun place. Flowy, fast and pretty flat iirc.

Thank god for the gravel bike. 27 miles from the front door - plenty of Vermont “paved” road, several miles of dirt, a bit of jeep track, some rec path, and even some grass. Got in just before the drizzle started.

Afternoon exercise therapy with the wife, who delighted in pedaling and passing me on the descents, slapping my ass on the way by... I love that Gal! Nice quiet 20 mile road loop.

And the hero dirt year continues... The trails were empty again today, I think everyone gave up or are just so afraid they're gonna get hurt they aren't riding. The local mt bike groups on Fb have gone mostly quiet, I thought it was because people didn't want to brag about going out but after the last two days of empty trails I really do think they all hunkered down and gave up.

Love that randonneur rack. Looking for a light front rack that doesn’t cost $100 to be able to strap a basket to when I want one.

Looks like $85 with a possible additional 20% off code?
Edit: No affiliation other than having used some of their stuff in the past and it seemed good quality.
