Any Hardack fans here with insight?
We took a spin there today for the first time and it seems like there are endless trails burned in all over that hill.
Can you link that hill together for an hour or two of good ups and downs? Thinking of moving from Essex to St. Albans so of course good single track carries some weight.

It would be hard to ride at Hardack for an hour. Plenty of trails but not a ton of real estate. I know they have been putting in a ton of work up there, but just not enough area.

Steep downhill turns are a little more terrifying these days. No rain in the forecast neither. Blarf.

Sandier trails round here are rough but the siltier trails have simply hardened into a rock hard pavement. Rolling real fast. Rain in the forecast for Monday through, fingers crossed.

Considering a ride at Bear Brook tomorrow. Anyone have favorite loops or around for a ride? Probably rolling around noon.
Also going to be in Stowe Friday and Saturday if anyone is around. Not sure of my schedule yet but I will be riding both days.

Just saw your request for info from a few weeks back as I was catching up on this thread (haven't been on TGR much since working from home since I usually kill time at work on here ha). Sorry I missed your original post - could have had some input for ya.
Hope you enjoyed riding the dacks, the betatrails stuff has really expanded in recent years. Did you do "All In" at Hardy road? That's a good one. Also, you didn't mention flume trails, some real nice stuff over there including "poor mans downhill" which is like 3.2 miles all downhill.

Thanks mang, we did 'All In'. That's a fun network, great work being done by the Barkeaters. Flume was on our list but we ran out of time, guess we'll have to go back.
Spent a lot of time around Fourth Lake as a kid so this was a bit of a nostalgia tour, lunch at Daikers and had to take a picture of Nutty Putty in Old Forge!!

US nordic team member, Simi Hamilton, rode every trail at KTA (less a downhill trail or 2) yesterday. 130 miles, 17k elevation, and lots of “fuck this” (per his post).
I have the Strava screen shot but TGR doesn’t like to upload those.
