April 17-19: Holy S$*T! It's an old school Mammoth Mini!

That's right people, me and everybody's favorite raging readhead maggette divegirl are headed down from the PNW to Mammoth to ski with old friends and party like it was the days of old. Well, OK maybe not that since we will have our ripping 7 year old along so she can experience the glory and splendor of the Eastern Sierra. You should come too and set up Fort FKNA (if it's melted out), have a margarita at Roberto's happy hour Friday, and rip some ripe corn or deep pow during the day.
In addition to us, TWINS and Pattye will be there. Asandygal will be rocking it as will snownymph and her local crew. There might even be some super old school appearances by the likes of uberschiest and atomicboy.
    Come to find out:
Will splat get kicked out of the Mountain Shadows hot tub?
Will Captain Powder show up in a nude onsie?
Will yoda violate luvin lamb right in front of the Mill?
Anything can happen at a Mammoth Mini!

And yes, this is not the original thread. My phone is a POS and I tried to edit one little word in that thread and it deleted the entire thread as soon as I even touched the text edit box.

I will do my best to be there. I don't know what I am doing tomorrow, let alone in April.

Well, we have to book flights, rent a car, get a condo,, plan for time off, etc. to get there so yeah, we plan ahead. This is our one travel ski trip this year.
That said, I encourage coming with the 8 year old. My daughter needs some local grom rippers to ski with (also looking at you Comish).

    We are a definite "maybe"

It's the last weekend of the Comish twins spring break and the current plan is to be hiking / camping in So. Utah, but who knows.

They would be done with ski Team by then so if we are in Mammoth they will just be ripping around w/ the fam. We will only be there or Tahoe every weekend through the end of March so by the time we get to April a little variety isn't the worst thing for the team.

This sounds fun. I'm probably swimming at a meet that weekend in BC, but if not I'll definitely keep this on my radar. Haven't skied down there since the Mammoth Mini in, what, '05 or something?

Right. My first one was 2005.
Still remember showing up not knowing anyone.
Ended up making friends that I still hang out with to this day.
This will be closing weekend for Canyon and Eagle lodges also.
Great corn skiing and the Pond Skim on Sunday.

Omg, this thread is awesome. So looking forward to this. I booked a condo at Mountain Shadows. We will definitely be meeting at Roberto’s on that Friday night April 17.

Comish, how old are your twins and that is so cool they’re on ski team! Looking forward to seeing all the kiddos ski too.

Word on the street is Ubersheist is booking a condo with a private hot tub with a bunch of funky non-ski people. Debauchery in our 40s and 50s??
