The more I think about it, the more I love this trade. Dodgers just got Mookie Fuckin Betts! The best Sox player since Ted Williams who also happens to be a top 3 player in the game and is in his prime. Dugie is great and they say good things about Jeter Downs but neither are anywhere near Betts’ class. One year rental or not I think the Dodgers fleeced em. With the Sox picking up half of that Price contract it’s just icing to get him as the #3 starter.

I may regret this in October, but I’m all in on this being the year. Plan the parade already!
Slow your roll Eli, felating a player we haven't signed and celebrated a series we haven't won.

    We'll see...

Both the Red Sox and the Dodgers are reporting it as official, so I think it’s a done deal.

And what’s the point of spring training if not to plan the parade?

Glad its official, bummed to lose Garlick and Tyler but on this Dodger team if you only play one position, you best be one of the best in the league at it.

    And victory parades planned: 95, 04,08, 2013-19...
Championships won, close your eyes, what do you see?

^It could finally provide Tebow his shot.

I think if you're MLB and you want to take the temp on some cockamamie idea to make more $$ you float a Twitter post, sit back and watch the reaction, or lack thereof.

I can't believe how fucking bummed it has made me. I am going to Ft Myers next month for first spring training experience and right now, I don't really give a F about going. And that bums me out more.
My sports interest seems to die a little (or a lot sometimes) every year. And those that know me, know how important they have been to me my whole life.
    Whatever.

At least they got some players. When the Sox sold Babe Ruth all they got was money. They're learning!

Perhaps the RS will sign Tebow and rekindle your interest?

Various scouting reports say they have the worst farm system in the majors. Bloom has a lot of work to do, but if anyone in baseball deserves the chance to try, he's the guy.

On the plus side, the O's suck for the foreseeable future so the basement of the AL East is already locked up.

I’m not a hockey guy, but I always hear people call Bettman the worst commissioner in sports. How could he possibly be shittier than Manfred?

It can't be an easy job with a bunch of billionaire owners having you on speed dial. Imagine having to listen to even half the shit Jerry Jones comes up with. The compensation seems to compensate though.

Jezuz Christ. Patience. Football will die in a decade, and the bloom is off NASCAR's rose. Idiots. Rich people suck.

If anyone missed it the Astros talked about the cheating scandal today. It went like this:

Astros owner: Nothing we did fundamentally changed the outcome of the games

Reporter: Just to be clear you're saying you didn't fundamentally change the outcome of the games?

Astros owner: I never said that
