They shouldn’t have even been in playoffs with their record. Cheaters or not, they have good ball players and have a playoff pedigree that got them this far despite it all. It makes it that more infuriating when good players cheat. Now they are stained.

And we could make a whole thread on greats that never got a title in sports. And Kersh hasn’t always dominated, so it will be if it is to be. I have my fondness for players how they played he game day in day out. Titles are icing on the cake. But that is just my opinion which is what matters in my world.

Ken Griffey Jr and Tony Gwynn as well.

I was going to add Nolan Ryan, but he actually won one with the 69 Mets early in his career. But during his dominant times, nada.

Fuck Joe Buck, great series. Go Rays.

Mike Trout would like a word with you. Unless you only watch playoff baseball, in which case your point makes sense.

Hell yeah! What a fucking series. I’m not gonna lie, after they went down 3-1 I thought the series was over. Happy to be wrong.

And fuck Covid for making it so I can’t go to any of these games.

I'm talking in terms of defense. Trout is generally accepted as being average to slightly above average on the defensive side. His 2.7 career dWAR puts him behind the likes of Michael A. Taylor and Isiah Kiner-Falefa. Offensive production easily skews perspective on defensive ability. Derek Jeter is one of the worst defensive shortstops of all-time. From 2003 until his retirement, he was dead last in DRS, and by a large margin.

Ok, East Coast vs. West Coast. Big Market vs. Small Market, Big payroll vs. Tiny.

This is sizing up to be a good series.

    OK Dodgers get it done.
I want what ever Turner takes to stay so spry at his age.

SO good to see a Healthy Seager being the Corey we all expected after that rookie year.
    Damn

Urias unheralded stud of this series.

    so many weapons

Mookie and Belli gonna rob ya.
