Lotta ways to slice it, but lets go with the 2 best teams in baseball ( record wise at least, I think the Pads are a better team than the Rays. They are Trevor Bauer away from a Ring in the next few years)
    Dodgers in 6

tough argument to make that the fathers are better than the bravos after getting swept vs going to a very close game 7.

    Bauer-Clevinger would be a really nice 1-2.

I could see Bauer in Atlanta though as they were reportedly very close behind the Reds when the Tribe traded him and Bauer has said after his visit here that he liked the fit.

I do like this game every day thing. And without a ton of crowd stuff, it feels more like straight up ball. If this became the new way (it’s not), I would be ok with it. Get er done.

I hear ya, I think if the Pads pitchers were healthy that was a different series. Still in awe of how sick the young pitchers for the Braves are and likely just not processing it. Been watching the Padres all season and they scare me.

This has been an interesting tournament/playoff or whatever.

RE: Dodgers VS Braves, both teams were hot and cold but IMO the Dodgers have a bit more talent across the board, this year.

It certainly didn't help to see the Braves make critical base running errors that cost them runs as well as outs.

I hope Wash survives the humiliation.

Having your team eliminated allows you a lot of freedom to not give a fuck and just enjoy the games.

    Rays in 5.

From 2003 until his retirement, he was dead last in DRS, and by a large margin.
well, you didn't mention defense in your original post.

He was a better pitcher than he is an announcer/color guy.

Kkkkkkkkershaw is good when he gets run support and doesnt see the seventh.
Also when teams dont know his huge swing and miss slider is coming.

    3 more...

and cut Smoltz some slack, he just watched his playoff K record get passed and he has to sink to Buck's level.

edit: Mookie Betts, good at baseball

Whoever called balls and strikes in NLCS Game 7 was excellent.

So the guy who caught the long foul ball wearing a “NICE SWING BITCH” shirt didn’t make anyone else laugh?

That is where the Ds starting rotation really grinds opponents.

Why did Robert’s not use Buehler last night on regular rest against Snell? Now he’s off schedule and you didn’t have an answer for Tampa’s ace. Feels too cute by half b

agreed. it was a strange move. it'll be interesting to see how Buehler fares. Rays offense was on it last night. Lowe came back in a big way and looks dangerous.
