Oh damn. Yeah, that’s right. I am only half paying attention until the series. Then maybe 2/3’s.
Just watching for Yanks and Astro losses.
    Vibes Pham.

Edit: I thought Pham was still on the Rays. I really haven’t been keeping up, eh?

    Bravos rolling in the 9th!

They are looking relaxed and confident.

    4 in the 9th. Crazy.

Love me some Ozzie Albies, still disappointed for the guy for signing such a low dollar early extension.

    great tight game.
Bueller wasnt prime B, but hung in.
Max Fried was sick. Best curveball since Kershaw...

Not sure Roberts pitching Plan, but we will see.
both these teams are solid top to bottom, anyone can beat you. Gonna be a good series

^^^ Yep but I give the Dodgers the edge when it comes to starting depth.

I knew the Braves could hit top to bottom, but never knew their 2 starting pitchers were this good.
Glad to see Catman start strong, glad the Dodgers bats woke up at the end.

If we can get 6 innings out of Kershaw, this should be a series.

I feel bad for the little guy, I really do, but this is pretty sweet.
Defense wins games. Pitching helps too.

are the dominant Rays still "playing above their weight" against the AL team with the losing record?

Yep they are definitely playing well above their weight.

Truth be told I don't follow the AL much, mainly because of the DH. The Rays have looked good in post season play but they are surprising me as to how good.

NO, fuck that little cheating fuck
    Karma is a bitch
    2017 post Season he hit .472 at home, .143 away. 17 H, 6 HR & 12 RBIs at home and 5 H, 1 HR & 2 RBIs away.
    Fuck that cheating fuck.
Game 1 against Kershaw in the Ravine he gets one hit outtta 4, no RBIS
Game 5: 3 hits & 4 RBIs against Kershaw and once again "Kershaw cant deliver in the post season" No, Altuve knew what was coming and feasted.
I hope he never recovers and quits the game.

    FUCK THAT CHEATING FUCK

know you didnt follow the AL, but the only team in baseball to win more games than the Rays this year were the Dodgers. They are good.

Well, if you give up 11 runs in an inning, best to do it in the top of the 1st.

Yep, I keep telling people that the 4 teams that ended up in the CS are the 4 best teams if the Padres cannot be counted. That includes the Assholes, er I mean Astros.

Edit to add: OK time to go to the bar guys, the Braves are buying the 1 round.

Hope they don’t shoot their whole wad in one game. But maybe helps them get back on track.
I have been somewhat keeping an eye on ATL these past few years, and have always liked Freddie. But I would benefit financially with LA winning it all. Plus Mookie though it still really stings overall.
Ultimately, as long as Yanks and Astros aren’t in it, I am ok with whoever wins it.

What's totally neat about a game that's being mailed in after the first inning is getting all that extra Joe Buck you wanted at the outset.

    Wait, no it's not.

was hoping for a padres rays series, considering the little guys rarely get to make it but rays braves is cool, just someone not there every other year.

i figured the astros would make the nlcs, they know how to cheat in dodger stadium. yeah, they are the local 9, but if you cheat i'm out. if the astros give up their series trophy and rings i'll forgive, but i'm waiting them out 5 years to get all the cheaters off the roster currently.

Rays-Pads would be completely on brand for 2020. And I would watch the fuck out of that one.

Rubbing my Kershaw bobbleheads back all morning....

Rays Pads would be fun as hell to watch. Both teams are electric. 2nd & 3rd best teams in baseball. Both should contend for a while
