The Mets have the 7th best odds in the majors but just the 4th best odds in their division?

In baseball, more than other sports in my opinion, these preseason odds are complete and utter shit.

Keep in minds that odds are set not only based on expected results, but also to encourage bets, preferably an equal number on either side

Reds just keep making moves and sign Castillanos. Is the NL supposed to be shitty this year?

Looks like you'll have to take Price too to make that work. I'm sure it'll be fine.

this is the same team that took on Carl Crawford and Josh Beckett when they were toast and owed shittons of money, just to get Gonzalez. I'm sure taking on Price would be doable (and he's still a good pitcher).

i had forgotten about beckett but doubt the dodgers have because he was pretty useless after that trade.

    cheating astros take dusty baker to try and smooth things over, wont work. like Rachel green's mom said, once a cheater, always a cheater.;

1st game of the season is primetime an hour south of the dodgers in Anaheim, should be an epic scene.

Not at all. I’d rather take his contract and keep our top prospects. It’d give em the best lineup in baseball I think.

    Betts
    Verdugo
    Turner
    Bellinger
    Muncy
    Seager
    Lux
    Smith

I'd rather see a trade for Lindor- give up Seager, Stripling, a couple of prospects. Indians would likely demand more, though.

A trade for Betts would likely have to include Verdugo since el Sox Rojo would want a replacement center fielder. Fuck that! I like Alex and would keep him over trading for Betts.
    Daniel Ortega eats here.

Indians' front office is the savviest in baseball. They have to be. They groom Cy Youngs and top tier talent then trade it away for hauls that pay dividends 9/10 times.

Expect to pay a king's ransom for Lindor and rightfully so, he's that good.

    But you know that.

The semis left for the desert today boys; 12 days.

Yup. Lindor fills a need for Los Doyers. Betts does not.

We need a strong right handed bat, Seager is good at SS and Lux is going to be there ASAP. Plus as noted Lindor would cost more than we want to give up. Sox need to move Mookie ( and I wouldnt mid Price honestly)
I do love Duggie though and he is a great fit in LA, lots of other pieces that could go.

    We will see.

Looks like Mookie and Price going to the Dodgers.

I'm trying to figure out why they would trade him (other than the money part), and all I can think of is maybe Mookie wanted to leave? Who knows. This team is a giant clusterfuck this winter.

Best part will be watching the Dodgers figure out a way to lose the WS again.

My kid had his first outdoor practice last Saturday. I gotta admit, if felt pretty good. I’m still in full ski mode, but I can see days at the park just around the corner.

It’s sad to see Dugie go, but I think you have to make that trade. Betts, Bellinger and Pollock is the best outfield in baseball now.
