    second.

if I were a professional athlete with an injury, i'd be looking up doctors while you still get elective surgery. they could all rehab in their house after.

They’ll play. Too much $ on the line not to. As soon as CDC says ok they’ll be on the field.

Good of a time as any to get it but you never know what pitcher will come out the other side. Hopefully Chris sale of old.

i feel like the list of pitchers that hasn't had a tommy john is shorter than the list that has had it done. it brings me no pleasure to say, but he'll probably even be better.

eta: if they play then yeah, his season is gonna be fucked though.

Today’s bit of baseball history: the Indians’ record setting 22 game win streak of 2017. I couldn’t find anything compressing it all to under 5 minutes outside of Trevor Bauer’s really nicely-done farewell to Cleveland video. So here it is.

Gotta say, those 16-18 teams are probably more dear to my heart now than the great 90s teams in hindsight. So much fun.

I wonder if the Red Sox entire 2018 season is available to watch somewhere. I'd watch that again.

    MLB.tv has it

Edit: turned on a 2018 game and I had legitimately forgotten that Hanley was on that team.

Anyone see the ESPN Backstory: Banned for Life* that was on tonight? Pretty good stuff for those needing a baseball fix.

    Here’s today’s break from COVID/polyass:

Sports radio today is having people name their favorite team's all-time lineups 1-9.

Some interesting names I haven't heard in years.

If anyone is missing the sound of Chris Berman’s voice saying back, back, back, back, ESPN the deuce is airing eight straight hours of Home Run Derby action tonight.

    Eight. Hours.

Called MLB TV today and cancelled my subscription. They were pretty good about it and refunded the entire $ 121.99.

Told them I would re-assess when Baseball starts back up.
