And to counterbalance the darkness I’ll say his lord and savior will lead Webb Simpson to the podium.

He’ll have to overcome a four shot deficit to DJ, but I guess anything is possible.

Well, actually, the way DJ is playing, maybe it’s possible, but not likely.

Is this starting score system any better than the points previously used? Haven’t really thought about it. But if you look at rahms last 36 holes in Chicago vs rest of field especially closing day 64 anything should feasibly be possible from this bunch.

Not sure if it is “better”,but it was done intentionally to give the leader an advantage.

Rahm obviously has a good chance, since he tied it up today. But the guys in the lower half of the field have virtually no shot, barring a miracle.

Edit: oh, I think what they were trying to achieve when they came up with this method of seeding was to avoid the situation where someone could win the Tour Championship, but still not have enough points to become the champion for the year. That used to happen quite a bit under the old system. Now, if you win the Championship, you are the champion.

That makes sense. Two titles on line I guess it differentiates better.

Oh man I miss caddying. Did in Jhole, unbelievable money and a playing privileges at a killer Fazio track. That gig bought a ski pass, gear and I still had cash leftover.

Lots of guys getting 7 woods built for them this week. Also a lot of players replacing 3i with hybrid this week.

    It's for distance out of thick rough...same reason I carry a 5W vs 3W in a 4 wedge setup

DJ has his work cut out for him this week.

You guys are going to melt down when Patrick Reed walks away with it.
