    Superior Tibiofibular Joint Sprain?

Anybody have the pleasure of dealing with this?

My PT says it's fairly common ski injury, since ski boots immobilize the lower tib-fib joint and transfer force to the joint just below the knee. Since its "just" a sprain, recovery is around 2-3 weeks. The PT has me working on strengthening the muscles that control leg rotation and lateral movement.

I think I might have tweaked mine when I did my acl/meniscus.
It took quite a while to come back. Rubbing it always helped.
