Outcast finally came in (ordered in June). Sweet little ride. Great for the class 1/2 skinny water streams (at least this time of year) around here. Got out for the maiden voyage Sunday.

Convenience of car topping that thing on the Soobie was great. Loaded it up there myself with no problem.

    Little Saturday Firestone Action

With flows up and COVID cases up and storm coming in, seemed like getting out yesterday was the ticket. Lots of hunters out but was on the river all by myself for 4 hours. Mostly rainbows but at least one brownie as I lost a big fish on a streamer. Bit of nymphing and meat hucking made for a great time. Just need to up my solo picture taking game as it is pretty bad. Yup.

Easy to grab the 10Ēers. Not so much the 18/20?Ēers. Mostly I just want to let them go quick. He looks prettier in the net.

The solo picture game is not easy, especially waist deep wading . Got a good shot of this one. Put one a few inches bigger in the net but he was not having the selfie.....

Went searching for browns, caught a whole bunch of rainbows. Fish are fat around these parts. Perfect day, Fall fishing is the best.

I think I want to basically do a trip and fish every day in October. I just love sight fishing with small bugs in low water.

    What up Harry?

You don't like a bunch of potato heads up fishing your waters? Now you know how we feel in the spring when all your rivers are blown out and every swinging dick in Montana with a drift boat is down on the HF.

No I was not part of that. I haven't been around West since September. There's a lot of less crowded options out there and I've been busy killing small animals anyway. For future reference, I don't fish places with conga lines and parking lots filled with #Instafag fishermen.

Time to move on from the fag comments bro, not cool. I get it; I used the same insult ruthlessley for decades but it's tired and makes you seem like an ignorant cunt.

I'm probably in the minority here but I bet you're a pretty cool dude to go fishing with. Just maybe every once in awhile quit trying so hard to be such a dick to everyone and post some stoke?

for the last 5 or 6 years here on tgr it's been perfectly ok to call people who own guns gunfags but now all of a sudden you're all butthurt over me saying #Instafag? whatever dood.
