Friday evening he dished up some awesome Elk tacos. His Pico de Gallo is incredible. I needed two but ate four.

Friday night Joe cooked up the elk that Talisman sent over. Hagen declared it was the best meal Joe had ever cooked. Next morning Joe stuffed burritos full of leftover elk from the night before. Average Joe is an awesome dude, he will be joining us on the Missouri and near Dillon this week.

Report from the Missouri River

lifelinksplit is here with his boat, great time today, but long and hot.

Boat #1 = Dibbs, Average Joe, & Sheldon (dog)

Boat #2 = lifelinksplit, Harry, & Walter (dog)

Biggest fish of the day was by lifelinksplit, a 19 inch Brown. Hopper and a dropper seemed king, but every fish we caught was on the hopper, not the dropper. Pics are on lifelinksplit’s phone, so he will have to post them. My phone was dead. SFB took tons of pics, but he will have to download them.

Dinner report for Underoo’s = tonight Average Joe is grilling steaks sautéed in mushrooms.

damn that fish looks tasty. Got another nice creek smallie this past weekend. Only about 13 inches long, but fat. Came out of a stretch only about 15 feet wide. Maybe 3 feet deep. Dead clear water. He came out and inspected the first fly but didn't eat. I changed, and he jumped on the 2nd one immediately. It was a nice fight given the small water.

Had a great time meeting up with some mags. Like harry said fishing the mo this time of year is hot and weedy(in more ways than one). I only took 2 crappy pics. Hope them boys had fun down south. Walter had a blast chasing sticks with sheldon.
