I would think you'd want it on you unless you go big- and I don't think big works unless you're on a bigger boat than a yak. I bought a plastic tub about waist wide. Drill a bunch of pairs of holes in the bottom. Pull some zip ties through. Add a strap (I use a bungee).

Don't know when the last time you were there was, but Esox is one of the few OG bars that's still holding out on that block.

I fish surf sometimes, so I have holes in the bottom of my basket so it drains instead of filling and killing me. Bungie could work to quickly flip it, but I like a set point like a belt, and not a stretchy attachment. YMMV
