Successful cataract trip just finished. Take out was not ideal…we used the winch on the van and inflatable tubes (instead of the PVC pipes)
Great weather. The trips that put in behind us got smoked w rain/hail/wind….

Middle Fk Salmon permits and summer BBI
Great trip, highlights were the friends, the scenery, the hikes and the whitewater. Dark canyon was spectacular and easy to access. Rapids all went well with the exception of #20. Dropped into a hole and when I dug in to push through the oar bounced off something and hit my abdomen pretty hard. Then somehow went under my pfd and launched me. We maytaged around once and I was able to grab back on and pull us out. Still pretty beat up.
