For the record a trans athlete does not have to be considered trans by having sex reassignment surgery nor be gay. I don’t believe either of the trans runners in Connecticut had gender surgery. So yes those girls were running against a biological male with a penis who may or may not be gay. It’s complicated and I can understand why those high school girls would be upset.

So is the 500th ranked men's tennis player planning on transitioning? Or any others from 1-499? No.
This is a Breitbart troll, nothing more.
Darling daughter (D1 athlete) can barely register an eye roll over this made up issue.

How dare you call dudes in transition dudes?? What a fucking bigot you are!
Anyway, we're currently talking about what % of the population actually wanting to play on the womans team while having a penis or used to? For pro level sports with written contracts or international governing bodies they seem to have a set of rules and system that's working for most.
But for grade school and college, where nobody is getting paid, I suspect Title IX will allow that 3% or whatever to play as female.
Speaking of high school..

My daughter also said "why is anyone even asking.. of course it's OK for them to play on the girls team"
Edit to add a little more insight.. I coached my sons and daughters youth coed soccer teams from U6 through U17. There was always ONE kid on the field that was significantly better than everyone else.. Yes, usually a boy. Everyone still had fun.Last edited by SumJongGuy; 12-25-2019 at 08:43 AM.

Why you keep trying to deflect the argument and make a racial issue out of it?

It's an interesting article and I'm all for further research. I could certainly be convinced that it's not an issue. Distance running seems to be best case scenario with women. Women already win some ultra endurance events against mixed fields.
The handball example isn't a great one though as it gives no context. The author says that because player was only the third leading scorer on a national team at a major international competition, it shows that transitioning wasn't an advantage for her. Well, I buy that if she was a top level player on the male side before transition. If she was a much lower level player who suddenly jumped to being a top international level player after transition, then I think it's an example in the other direction.

If you know any gay or trans then you know that it is not a lifestyle that is easy. Not something that one would chose just to win a race. Threads like this prove Carlin was wrong. The number is closer to 75% IMO.
