TGR Year In Review (Sorta Safe for Work*)

    *Depending on where you work...

For those who find the "TGR Week in Review" a bit too granular and prefer to catch up on a yearly basis.
    -----------

After a period of intense krakenization, the site underwent de-krakenization.

Based on recommendation frequency, the Praxis Rx waned in popularity, but red boots are still in vogue.

    New aliases replaced old aliases.

    Bmills returned.

According to many, TGR was getting soft this year. Based on complaints received, that continues a trend of approximately 12 straight years with continual softening.

I think at this point we're definitely squishy. Or at least spongy.

Compared to 6-8 years ago, this place has definitely gone soft. Mostly for the better, IMO. But a thick skin is still required from time to time, which is good.

So, on a softness scale where does TGR stand now?

It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.

I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.

So middle age soft right now... When do we turn into a bunch of geriatrics that no longer give any fucks and just spout off about whatever they feel like with no filter?

I think we should put it on the Ogden scale.

Also, the Ogden scale continued to confound for another year.

The Wagon Stoke Thread hit 100 pages.

    Bobby and Spook went missing.
I still call it The Jake.

High levels of Autism Spectrum Disorder in the Rutland, VT area still not being investigated.

I learned better technique on dirt and can corner better.

A few usernames who may or may not have been Jer aliases taught us the importance of always having a tourniquet (was that this year?) and showed us how much more they know about thermodynamics than all the other 7.5B on Earth, let alone the people who's job it is to study these things.

Oh, and Leavenworth Skier bought a shop that works on old Land Cruisers because having 1 business still allowed time to occasionally sleep/eat and that is wasted time when you could be wrenching.
    No longer stuck.

I don’t know, how old is Benny? I’m thinking right about when you hit that age. From what I’ve seen.

I think the term you're looking for is "flaccid."

Well Benny has thought fit to share with us that he's a Viagra guy, so "flaccid" may not be appropriate in this instance.
