Thinking about whipping up some Tom & Jerry's this weekend. What you got?

It’s a nice change-up from the season of facing a steady diet of bourbon based fastballs.

I used to be very conflicted when The Kentucky Derby and Cinco De Mayo fell on the same day. Bourbon or Tequila??? Can't do both because then I'd be too sleepy to start fights..
Go that way really REALLY fast. If something gets in your way, TURN!

Help me out with a good, not to complicated cocktail that uses rye that I can sling this holiday season.

    3 oz rye
    1 oz ginger syrup
    0.5-1 oz Bragg cider vinegar
Just a wee squeeze of lemon

    Wicked good.

Perfect Manhattan: 2 ounces of your favorite rye; 1/2 ounce of Sweet vermouth; 1/2 ounce dry vermouth; couple splashes of bitters; one real maraschino cherry

Another vote for Tom and Jerry's.
Was a big annual T&J party at my grandparent's and while it takes time to prepare and they even used special punch bowl and cups, it opened my eyes to the wonderful world of seniors getting overserved. Was thinking of investing in an official Tom and Jerry drink set this yuletide and hosting friends for a potent potable party.

Oh no - you aren't getting away without details...

    Here's a Manhattan recipe provided by a friend's MIL
    one bottle Chivas
    One bottle Crown Royal
    One bottle FRENCH vermouth
Mix and shake through crushed ice
    Serves four

Been enjoying a lot of brandy lately. Just served neat. Seems Christmasy for some reason. Bourbon + my wife's homemade eggnog's been pretty delicious too. Oh yeah, also been getting back into Old Fashioneds.

Pretty much the following for me:
In - Brandy & Bourbon (although bourbon's never out of season for me)
    Out - Tequila & Gin

It is actually really good. It taste like cinnamon punch (a christmas punch). There is a slim chance I am wrong about the 151 but I'm pretty sure ???

I have 2 sets of Tom & Jerry punch bowls and mugs. 1 santa and the other snowmen. Used to have New Years Day parties featuring T & J's.

I'm not familiar with T&J's, but I assume this (https://www.thespruceeats.com/tom-an...-recipe-760573) is what everyone is talking about? Any favorite recipes from the maggots?

Cardamom maple Old Fashioneds have been a hit lately. Might also do some of the PDT Benton's Bacon Old Fashioned.
