Nope. Right wing conservative , cowboy hats, wranglets, racism, trickle down economic bible beaters, privatizing govt jobs to sell off to their fat cat buddehs, fracking, texas tea, bull fighters.. many even have the accent but theres good people on both sides in Berta. All the fun stuff there. Mountain towns have more of the BC vibe but theyre even conservative because the banff canmore riding is grouped in with more populated cochrane so conservative votes in cochrane out number banff/canmore

You do realize they had previously elected an NDP government headed by a woman?
You do realize that 1/2 of the oil patch workers are from New Foundland and fish and dance to Irish/Scottish Ceilidhs'?
You do realize that Calgary has a strong Asian population and that major business chains are in fact Indian/Pakistani?
    You knew that, right?
I'm not so sure you know what you are talking about.

Im not sure i have the time to explain to you the relevance of all those points and how it relates to my characterization of Berta. Stick to carbon rotor testing and pandemic death rate maths bud

If you don't have the time to explain relevance, then I guess you definitely won't have the time to explain truthiness.
I'm glad you are keeping up to date with my various interests.

the NDP only won there because the really right wing and crazy right wing split into 2 parties for an electoral period and split the vote...but anyone who actually follows Canadian politics knew that.

NDP did extremely well in that election. But you say it was all vote splitting.
It was an Orange Chinook for many reasons - such as the fact that Alberta isn't the conservative racist bastion told here.

I have you on my ignore list nortonwhis - I haven't seen what you wrote.
I just find that when people want to get that way, the best thing is to ignore them.
We can't all like each other or like each others posts. we all have to just deal with it -
    exercising human decency.
And if you said something nice, or amicable ...
or something otherwise relevant or inspiring, I apologize. I'll just have to miss it this time around.
I do hope you are getting after it and not being a jong by not wearing a mask.
    Peace out.

Spoiler- his post was very informatice. He found the ultimate brake pad combo that makes 140mm carbin rotors as powerful as trickstuff brakes with 240 rotors and the modulation of codes. First try combo. It was pretty obvious actually

Sent this out to my friends from CH who were going to visit this year. Also had an old trailbuilder friend from the UK who's deferring till.next year.

In this time when travel is limited; I've truly come to appreciate how fortunate (and wise) Shar and I are to live in a place where (i) there are more trails than one could quite possibly ride in a lifetime; (ii) for the trailbuilders who build; (iii) the trail orgs that support trails; and (iv) as a trailbuilder, for the landscape in which I too can build my own non-enduro friendly jankClick image for larger version.

    Whistler 2019 - 2020

Checked out the Pot of Gold and Ninja Lakes zone today. An extra level of awesomeness up there now.

I only saw 3 ebikers poach it too. Not bad considering the world we live in. I told them to bring their dog next time. I think they kinda believed me.
