Got these for 40% off and with my store credit from Xmas returns for $57 only cost me $49. Pretty comfy. Seems well constructed but we’ll see how they last.

    First Ascent

I'd have to agree w the other sentiments that the First Ascent line is actually really well performing. I'd probably not buy it at full price buy I've got a heyburn 2.0 jacket i picked up on ebay for $75 that has some cool features. Namely the massive front facing pit zips.

Rode the lift yesterday in the Guide Pro pants - 25f and snowed all day. Chair seats were iced. I wore my Patty cap mid weights under the pants. I was never cold, never wet, and really didn't think about the pants at all. They breath way better than my FlyLow Neoshell pants. I really like them so far. I just wish they had a beacon clip in one of the pockets (used for keys when inbounds.)

Mine have a loop in the thigh pocket.

I wore mine on a hut trip in the Wallowa first week of March last year, never got above 10F during the day. Was comfy with lightweight wool underneath

Went to the EB store & really thought the stuff was 'generic' & boxy looking. Ordered a puff from STP for less than I could buy 60% off at EB outlet.

trigger pulled. Never tried these one so I might be sending back or offering up here in case they sell out.

I hope they fit as their size chart indicates.

I'm a huge fan of their Expedition Flannel shirts. Have about 10 of them that I pick up whenever new colors come on clearance. They are $24 with the coupon.

Love that Eddie Baur Mtn Ops line. 100 times better than that cheap Carhart shit....

And the sizing is consistent from one garment to the next unlike Carhart....

Haha. Same. Had like 10 items in my cart and figured I'd keep looking at everything. Then came across that. NOPE.

This. Speaking from personal experience, I have had no issues with my ascent series jackets.

    Eddie Bauer?

Any experience with the grid fleece? Is this comparable to the Patti R1 pullover?

Have it and like it, especially for the price (when on sale). A little boxier fit. Not as thick as the R1 with smaller grid pattern.
