We should start a thread about that one.

No, the internet would go bonkers over such an ad.

    You need to ask yourself...
What sort of mileage are you expecting to put on it each year?
Is it a business? In which case you can deduct the cost, but I'm not an accountant so you should check this.

I still don't get the hubub about the commercial. The real travesty is that this couple can't afford to build a separate workout room in their home, or apparently a membership at E at Equinox where they would have access to a concierge and real life personal trainers.

See, I knew it wasn’t as simple as a trade-in. This is going to take some thought. I might be best keeping the current peloton and yoga nut while working out some kind of fractional ownership of a new model.

Right? That’s not how this works.

Careful with the fractional ownership route. Tons of monthly fees and you can get hit pretty hard when you try to offload it.

^^Three words. Bring A Trailer. Get it cleaned up, detailed and take plenty of pictures, especially of the undercarriage. A video of it getting driven never hurts either.

It's all fun and games until Bobby runs a carfax on it and you find the salvage title.

You think she'd leave the house looking like that? After her first year on the Peleton she was probably finally able to look at herself in the mirror without crying.

If the genders were reversed, would anyone even be discussing this commercial?
And this is a boon for Peleton

I'm betting there's a creepy tracking app you can download for that.

1999 called and wanted to let you know that both sexual orientation and gender identity are a continuum. Or were you trying to compete with Benny to see who could sound more out of date?

    Bi-sexual midgets on a Peloton?

Someone get me the number for Peloton's ad agency.

What I think is absolutely fucking amazing is how everyone is making a hudge deal out of this commercial. Did anyone think maybe the woman had dropped hints to her loving husband about how she would love to take up spinning but with her work life she didn't want to spend more time away from her daughter? Maybe see is nervous about stressing a torn ACL repair and wants to get health again after surgery so she can shred tittyballs deep pow again.

People are worked up about the cost of this bike but how many bikes could be purchased with the sale of skis by some on this board alone. A bike could be purchased - paid in full by not buying one large coffee daily for one year which would benefit your health dramatically as well.

This country is so concerned with how others are seen or perceived to be treated and would better off worrying about what they do or say to others.

So... is that a vote for leasing or buying?
