Did Magic raise ticket prices so much that someone resorted to this form of uphill travel?

Ticket prices didn't seem to be all that expensive when I skied there two years ago.

Magicians: This thread almost fell to the 3rd page if not for Vets' bump about the potential Range Rover sponsorship opportunity that was lost. It's lost a few channels and is now playing in monophonic sound.

Where are the pictures of people hucking off Picture Rock? Smiling faces of people partying on the sun deck?

And which one of you was driving thru beautiful Troy NY yesterday in a blue Jetta wagon with a roof coffin?

Is that one of those frost heaves I've been reading about in another thread?

And ironically it appears you’d use a dolphin turn to clear an ice heave, down by the river of course... learning all sorts of great stuff today.

Looks like we’re probably headed to Magic tomorrow. What do I need to know? Looks like the hill is in pretty good shape all over right?

When you arrive, leave your skis on the deck, boot up in the looker's left side of the BLT. If you see a guy with a Mickey Mouse cap, say hi! (that would be me). On the hill I'm in a red Marmot shell, blue pataguchi pants, Line Supernaturals and an over-stickered helmet. We will proceed to shenanigans. I'm bringing my brother back for day 2 tomorrow and we should be there around 10am. Otherwise, whether it's MNIAW above or any of the other regulars, you should find some friendly faces.

I'll be booting up by 8:30. Same clothes as in the picture (hasn't changed in 5 years). Comments from people that skied yesterday: "Best day of the year".

    shit-fuck end to a shit-fuck season.

we had fun and made the most of it, but this bullet in the head is what this season needs.

Great article on Magic's 20/21 Season Pass offering, which is live now if you want to buy early. Lowered prices, expanded offering, will credit for 21/22 if next season is impacted by shut down. Pretty cutting edge, and in contrast to the crickets at other areas......

Crazy pricing - $289 for Vermonters (that's 4 days of tickets)? $189 for local parents? Shit...$539 for the unlimited is still totally reasonable.

    Prices good through June 15th.

I'm so f#%king pissed I bought Epic again. Even though I can't buy another pass I would like to thank Geoff for his thoughtful pricing for Service persons, it means a lot to us (me and my wife are RNs) that we were included in this pass. I will definitely rethink and future pass purchases for sure.

BB's been gone for years. But I agree, he's a great dude. You'll have to look to the Magic of the Mad River Valley to find him these days
