Hey TGR, your Lindsey Vonn doc is fantastic
Totally blown away by the so many layers in this HBO/TGR special The Final Season. You guys did a bang up job. I recommended to a non-skier friend who knew nothing of Lindsey, nor of ski racing, and he said he was totally transfixed. He came away learning about what it took to be a world class athlete, how many it takes to keep her on top, learn about her family life, learn about a sport that he never thought twice about, but now will watch.
Great work..

I thought it was... meh.... Clearly produced by Lindsey’s camp. Zero content on her trials and tribulations outside of skiing.

Hey OP,
TGR doesn't give a fuck about their forums. They won't see your post.

It doesn’t need to be a reality TV show but when a “documentary” just skips over a huge time period of someone’s public life, is it really a documentary?
Like I said. Clearly produced by her camp.
Obviously a grasp at more cash and fame before drifting into obscurity. We will see her on Survivor or Dancing With the Stars in a few years.

-nickwm21 What’s with the Lindsey negativity? The butthurt vibe doesn’t look good on you.
She’s an astounding athlete. I’ve never understood why she’s so bullied online, and hated by men (boys)..

It probably glossed over when she was a total bitch to a volunteer at the Aspen World Cup. Did it mention why she didn’t compete in those races? It wasn’t a back injury.

What did LV do in Aspen????
Was it a true story that her ex-husband took a chain saw to her race boots?

I don’t know what kind of saw it was.

Thanks for the heads up we will watch it tomorrow.
As for content, why do people think that LV would be willing to participate in a movie documenting her nonskiing stuff?Originally Posted by blurred

she talks alittle about her personal life
it's an hour and half long which was pefect for a short attention span you could turn her life into a 6 hr mini series if you wanted but whose gonna watch that?
over all it stuck to a story and kept it simple and focused really well done
