This little storm hit Hood much more squarely than expected. It was still nuking when I left at 810pm and I drove through more nukage 60 miles Westward (where the weather is coming from).

Tomorrow should be sleeper deep, if not borderline epic considering the softness of the leftovers this afternoon. Of course I won't be skiing anymore for a while. Off to rehab to cure whatever disease it is that made me think I could keep up with TFT's leisurely Wednesday night pace.

Goods were found today though. Temporary East wind mid day made for some secret stashes. T-rev explained to me how the wind works with snow, AND found my wedding ring when I dropped it right outside the camper. Testament to the freeness of refills that I couldn't find it after about an hour of scraping, digging, and panning for Platinum by hauling snow into the camper and boiling it.

Well it's snowing out my office window right now, but more importantly it's also snowing up at Bachelor too. Looks like not many people up there, so for those that are, they are going to have a good day.

PR fully opened and several inches of new on top of untouched feet of Oregon's own ImpossiPow™ (face shots taste so much like UT/CO, you won't know the difference).

No wind and walk-on laps. Sleeper pow day confirmed. One of you maggots get some footy if you go!

Too bad about the leg cramps. Time to take physical fitness more seriously for the next time this happens.

Pisses me off to have missed this cycle. Summit Sunday would help to ease that pain...

Anybody ski today? Need status report and pics. I’m feeling stoke withdrawal syndrome after so much storm skiing. Well needed day off but I don’t want to admit it. Bueller... Bueller...

How does Hoodoo handle storms and holiday crowds? Thinking about driving on past Hood and the likely shitshow, and straight to Hoodoo this saturday.

Hoodoo is never really crowded & its inexpensive. Yes even beers are affordable. Should be some fine pow turns off the backside, all day long.

Started out nice and fluffy today at meadows. Twilight through all PR gates open.

Twilight was deep. After a few runs there, used the long traverse towards Clark for lap after lap of untracked.

    Sun peeked out around 2.

Everything started to set up from 2-4. Bumps were beginning to firm up and the untracked started getting a bit grabby.

Last run in the afternoon through PR was really nice and showed plenty of untracked leftovers.

If it's less than $300/sq ft, it's cheaper than where I'm at now. All about the acreage though.
